How I Work.

Jakub Galczynski can propose Design options based on an informed process and over two decades of research. Jakub specializes in community identity, mountain home aesthetics, and environmental assemblies. Jakub can and has supported a more Client-led design as collaborative.

+ Hourly

An Hourly Design Consultation provides access to professional Design and Drafting services without committing to all project phases. The service can be used for small-scale projects or to simply gauge the Design Process. Any Remodel or Interior project is hourly, due to the nature of project unknowns. An in-person meeting and site visit is required before requesting a Project Fee Proposal.

+ Full Service

Full Service is a long-term commitment to developing a custom home that reflects numerous design iterations to hit aesthetic, programmatic, and budget goals. An in-person discussion is a good time to understand the potential project while getting to know each other. Jakub will explain his Design Process and all Phases associated :

  • Project Feasibility Research (Preliminary)
  • Schematic Design (SD)
  • Design Development (DD)
  • Construction Documents (CD)
  • Construction Administration (CA)

+ Independent Contractor

Not currently available, but please keep me in mind. Design Professionals often need help for a short duration of a project. Your ideal team member might not live in the same spot, so why limit yourself to one location? Working remotely is exceedingly productive and competitive. In some cases, it is more effective. Please e-mail or call me if my skillset might benefit your design practice. I will notify you when I am open to help.

+ Project Scope

Galczynski LLC is a Residential Design Practice that carries General Liability and Errors & Omissions Insurance. Galczynski LLC does not work on projects that require AIA, specifically Commercial Projects and/or Residential Homes over 5,000 sqft gross area. Jakub is happy to explain what Design Services are needed for your particular project and make necessary recommendations.
