Design Concept :
Reinterpretation of the Farm House, responding to contextual heritage. A more modern language maximizes daylighting and views while maintaining simple forms. Large windows and doors are tragically under deeper eaves / awning, while the smaller rest are exposed to minimal roof overhang. Board and batten siding are used to enhance the farm house aesthetic, while intruding a composition to align with windows. The home is designed as a high-performing double staggered stud framed home.
